The next sin I chose was lust. I collected some primary research from the Chester Museum. I found a statue and a postcard which I think relates to lust. The postcard is of a famous dancer called Josephine Baker. This lead on to dancers and the shapes they form. I took these shapes and cut them out of fabric and experimented with placing them on a mannequin.
This lead on to burlesque dancing which linked to corsets. I did some shape development with the corset shape. The deformed body shape caused by the corsets reminded me of fans where they are pulled inwards.
