Yesterday, I did a bit more of the Giles Deacon dress because I was up to date with my work. I started by finishing of the neck facing by attaching it to the bodice with a 1cm seam allowance. Then I sewed retaining stitch.
I over locked the side seams on the skirt and sewed them together.
Then I worked out which panels went where on the skirt and attached them the same way I did for the bodice. I over locked the seams.
