Even while I was off for the summer I still had to do college work. I had to research eco designers, start fundraising for the fashion show and draw things that could be used as inspiration. I drew mostly sculptures and every day objects that I liked the shape of.
I put two drawing on this blog post which have nothing to do with college but are something I thought were too good not to share with people. They are the images above and below this text. I spent quite a bit of time on them and this is the first time I have been able to make the faces I draw look realistic.
These amazing egg lamps are created by Bến Tre. He hand carved each one which must of taken ages. He uses a mixture of landscape images and funky patterns on the eggs. The one below is my favourite because it looks incredible and reminds me a bit of leopard skin. I wonder how he caved the eggs without braking them because if I tried it I probably would break them.
