Rowan Mersh

While developing my chosen sin I came across Rowan Mersh. His work is like wearable sculptures. My designs have gone down a visionary since looking at his work.

Mersh's work creates lots of good shapes. The main reason I like his work is because it is very innovative.

I like this piece because it is very intricate and I would imagine it took a long time to finish.

The shape of this reminds me of a cupcake.

The shapes on this are incredible.

Snow Art

Artist Simon Beck spends all day walking through the snow to make these fantastic creation. Beck designs and redesigns the patterns in the snow and is sometimes unable to finish due to overnight acclamations.

The artist says 'The main reason for making them was because I can no longer run properly due to problems with my feet, so plodding about on level snow is the least painful way of getting exercise. Gradually, the reason has become photographing them, and I am considering buying a better camera.”

Cardboard Costumes

Every year at Strode College, the art and design students are asked to design and construct costumes out of cardboard. This is one way to create a recycled garment.

This one is my favourite because I like the detail of the feathers and it reminds me of peacocks. This costume is very imaginative.

Sculprures Carved From Pencils

A Hungarian artist ,known as cerkahegyzo, carved into pencils to create these detailed miniature sculptures. Each sculpture is entirely made out of pencil.

Giles Deacon Project - Part 6

I pleated the puff sleeves.
Then attached the front and back of the sleeves together and gathered them.

 I hemmed the sleeves.

Then attached them to the dress.

To finish it of I hemmed the bottom of the dress. Now all I need to do is the photo shoot and then submit it.

Disney Pumps

These 8 pumps are inspired by the Disney film we all know and love.
