J.W.Anderson Photo Shoot
I talked about entering a competition on SHOWstudio on a previous post. These are the photographs I have entered.
I wanted a feminine, classic feel to the garment and have tried to convey this through the colour palette and fabric choice. For the top I have used silk and I purchased the skirt fabric from a curtain shop.

Portrait Drawings 2
Here are some more portraits I have been working on.
Ian Somerhalder
Taylor Lautner
Josh Hutcherson
Jen Beard
Colombina Bodice Toile
I finished the toile for my corset. This will go with the Colombina skirt. I had to adjust the corset from what it looks, like on the left, to how it looks now, on the right. I did this by making it smaller and lowering the seam on the bust.

Colombina Spec Drawing Update
I have previously posted about my spec drawings for my final collection but this didn't have seam details
because I was unsure of how they were constructed. I have finished the toile for the Colombina outfit and have updated the spec drawing. The design has changed a bit because I decided this version looked better.

J.W.Anderson Project
Last year, I did the Design Download competition on the SHOWstudio website. It involved them giving you the pattern for one of Giles Deacon dresses that you could make.. You could alter the pattern or keep it the same and then you chose what kind of fabric you wanted to use.
SHOWstudio is doing the competition again but this year they are using a pattern for one of J.W.Anderson's outfits. I altered the design a little bit and used a different fabric to him.
